Sheila has been married to Peter Goerissen for twenty-five years. They met two years before their marriage. They live in Loganville, GA. When Pete and Sheila moved into their house, their neighbors had horses; but now those have been replaced with calves. Pete is a masonry contractor. Sheila retired from Arcadia, where she was the Director in their group claims office. Sheila enjoys keeping up with current events, garage sales and reading. She also benefits from Pete's guitar playing. Sheila has two sons, William H Reed (44) and Michael Shawn Skelton (39). William is married to Dawn and they have a son, Chazz (11). Chazz is a successful hunter, makes excellent grades in school and enjoys concerts and monster-jam. Sheila has been a volunteer at the Egleston Hospital for Children and also Eastside Hospital. She has chaired their fund raising activities and organized yard sales and bake sales to benefit many worthwhile projects. She is currently the fellowship chairperson and Treasurer for her Sunday School class at Loganville Baptist Church. Both Sheila and Pete are physically active and in good health. Sheila and Pete have had some great vacations, including 8 cruises. They have been to Alaska, Hawaii, South America, Aruba, and other islands. They have gone snowmobiling and dog sledding in Yellowstone. They have driven around the US and visited many of the national parks. Sheila started Tucker High in the ninth grade. Sheila remembers that our days in high school were free from drugs, fun, and of course educational. Sheila was able to participate in a lot of activities in high school. She recalls that the spend the night parties at Barrie Bixler's house were fun.
